Early summer warmth, a sense of spontaneity and rustic vistas along the way made our road trip from Hyderabad to Bangalore a thrilling affair. I’d say it was one of my best road trips ever. The Hyderabad-Bangalore route is exceptionally scenic, smooth and comfy.
Although it took around 10 hours to reach Bangalore, the distance seemed to trail away like a breeze. From rocky hills to distant mountain ranges, arid lands to lush farms, vineyards to coconut groves and little ponds to widespread lakes, our eyes were glued to the flashes of beautiful sights that ran by.
I can’t wait to share the pictures with you!
Such lovely water bodies are a sight to behold! Look at the hues! A red chili farm along the way. How beautiful it looks even when it’s all dry and barren! Look at the hills! Aren’t they beautiful? Hyderabad-Bangalore Highway is one of the best for road trips for its scenic views and smooth roads. The highway is straight through the entire route. And thus, you don’t have to follow any map. Just keep going! South India is perhaps the best for road trips. You get to witness such verdant beauty along the way! Such unique and fascinating landscapes to witness… a photographer’s joy! The highway is exceedingly clean. Cleaning in progress. It’s good to bump into such locals. But, beware of buffaloes and other animals who might just cross any moment…You got to be very careful! I’d say April is a good time for a road trip through this route, as there’s lots of rustic beauty to witness. Isn’t that stunning? I love the rolling hills that accompany you through the trip. Stopping by at such water bodies is the most rewarding moment of a road trip. Such lovely yellow flowers…When you’re driving on Hyderabad-Bangalore Highway, you know the true joy of road tripping – the free-spirited souls, the fun, the beauty and the serendipity! It’s one of my most memorable road trips in India. One of the things to watch out for is the array of windmills along the way. The views and the landscapes get better towards Karnataka. Towards the sunset… And, road trips and sunsets have their own romance! Wouldn’t you agree?
So, that was my road trip from Hyderabad to Bangalore.
Hot Tip – The same route is even more stunning during the monsoons.
