India has numerous lakes to beckon you for a relaxed vacation, out of which, I have picked 7 Lakes that have inspired me in some way or the other.
I won’t use many words to describe my admiration for the lakes. Let me just show you some of my favourite pictures that will nudge you to take time off for a lakeside sojourn.

Gadisar Lake is one of the main attractions in Jaisalmer. The lake was primarily constructed for water conservation, but now adds an enchanting touch to the arid vicinity.

Naini Lakeis my personal favourite. The colourful boats moored on the shore, the surrounding Deodars and the view of the mountains along with it make the whole atmosphere so serene and gentle.

Powai Lake in Mumbai
Powai Lake is surrounded by lots of foliage, which makes it a refreshing spot for the locals.
